Favorite Photos from Cambodia

By David

I experienced Southeast Asia for the first time in 2010 when I traveled to Cambodia with a humanitarian group. These are some of my memories.

All smiles surrounded by Buddha.

More smiles at Bayon, my favorite temple.

Although I now know the inhumanity of elephant riding, I still love this picture.

The intricacies in the carvings and pinkish hue of the sandstone at Banteay Srei lead many to believe it was designed by women.

Although it is now a Buddhist temple, this statue in Angkor Wat exemplifies the original Hindu beliefs it was built for.

The classic reflection pond outside Angkor Wat.
